At As-Siddeeq Institute, our goal is to revive the rich knowledge and wisdom of Islamic tradition among our communities. We endeavor to achieve this in a unique way, by offering courses and programs that cater to the needs of our students and audience. Our sister branch, A’ishah Institute, aims to revive the Islamic tradition specifically amongst the sisters.

As-Siddeeq Institute gets its name from the greatest man, after the prophets, that ever walked on the earth, Abū Bakr As-Siddeeq RD. The Messenger ﷺ repaid the favors that anyone had bestowed upon him, except for the favors of Abū Bakr RD. The Messenger ﷺ said that Abū Bakr's assistance to Islam and the Prophet ﷺ was so immense, that only Allah could repay him. As-Siddeeq Institute aims to follow Abū Bakr's selfless spirit and legacy by preserving, spreading, and reviving our rich heritage of Islamic knowledge. Our sisters’ branch, A’ishah Institute, is named after the daughter of Abū Bakr As-Siddeeq RD and the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, A’ishah RD.  As she is one of the greatest scholars in the history of Islam, A’ishah Institute endeavors to follow her legacy by reviving the Islamic tradition, especially amongst our sisters.

Our vision is to connect our communities with the splendid legacy of authentic Islamic knowledge and wisdom. We aim to equip our youth with the knowledge, values, and spirituality that will allow them to grow into confident Muslims who will pass the flag of Islam to the future generations. Together with this, we work in helping adults, whether beginners in learning or advanced students, to strengthen their bond with Islam through different courses and programs that cater to their abilities and needs.

After three years, his journey led him to South Africa, where he enrolled in Dār al-Ūloom Azaadville, and had the opportunity to complete the rigorous “al-dars al-niẓāmi” or “ʿālimiyyah” program under some of the world’s leading scholars, including Shaykh al-ḥadīth Mawlānā Fazlur Rahman Azmi, Mawlānā Abdul Hameed Ishaq, Muftī Saeed Motara, and others. During his six years in South Africa, Muftī Rohullah was granted formal certification in the various Islamic sciences, such as Arabic grammar, morphology and rhetoric, aqīdah (creed), Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), usūl (principles), Qurʾān exegesis (tafsīr), hadīth, and more. During this time, he also completed and received certification in the six main books of ḥadīth, al-ṣiḥāḥ al-sittah, including the Ṣaḥīḥayn (Bukhārī and Muslim). Desiring even more learning, he was specially selected to enter an advanced two-year course in the field of issuing Islamic legal rulings (ʾiftāʾ) in the Ḥanafī Madhab.
